finally some camo!

{Shirt: Similar | Jacket: Similar | Belt: Target | Bag: Target | Shoes: Similar}

I found my beauty secret...it's a little thing called a two-hour nap. A two-hour nap is good for my skin, good for my hair, good for my body and apparently good for my wardrobe. Unfortunately, that kind of legendary nap happens once in a blue moon.

On another note, I got lucky. Super lucky. I know I go on rants all the time about how wonderful Target is but I have to go there again. During a recent jaunt, I stopped by the clearance rack thinking there would be nothing and you know what was waiting for me...this jacket! And if you have been a long time reader, you know that I've been on the hunt for a great camo jacket. I think I hit the jackpot with this one!

And speaking of the jackpot. can we talk about that beautiful red bag? Also from Target! I am in love with it and it's huge, which is wonderful because I have a bunch of crap that I need to tote around with me all the time.

So if you get anything out of this post, it should be that you need to take a two-hour nap ASAP to see what kind of wonders it brings and go to Target immediately because there is so much awesomeness there!

If that doesn't start out a Wednesday right, I don't know what does.

no wallflower.

{Headband: Similar | Sweater: Similar | Purse: Similar | Cords: Gap}

Usually I would categorize myself in the wallflower category. It's not often that I want to standout in a crowd. But this outfit was just screaming to be worn and when an outfit screams at you, you wear it whether you want to standout or not. This navy animal print sweater was just meant to be paired with these emerald green cords. And yes, that's right I've added another color to my menagerie of colored pants. I mean you might not know it but if you see a pair of emerald green cords they are probably going to go home with you (or me).

How about you are you a wallflower or a stand out in the crowd kind of girl? Or do you dance on both sides of the line?

just another outfit.

{Sunglasses: Similar | Sweater: Similar | Tee: Hanes | Scarf: Similar | Pants: Gap | Shoes: Sperry}

You guys I am so stinking beat. I would much rather curl up in bed than do anything else. I took the easy way out today. I have no inspiration. Zero. Zippo. None. So instead of putting together a well-thought out post that might actually interest you guys, I decided to just post another outfit.

If I had a fall uniform, this would be it. Oversized sweater, check; fun scarf, check; stretchy pants, check; and comfy shoes, check. Basically the equivalent of pajamas minus the scarf. And I call myself a style blogger. Go figure.

Oh and just for the record folks, today I found out that my son might possibly grow up to be 6'8". What the what. Not cool little dude, Not cool. Maybe you could just take a growing break? Maybe just maybe?

I promise I will be more inspirational tomorrow.,,maybe.

no bells, no whistles.

{Jacket: Similar | Sweater: Similar | Jeans: Gap | Shoes: J. Crew}

I'm rocking second-day hair. And I think it's the greatest trend ever. I love this messy, tousled look. And let's face it...my husband, dog and child want to get out the door bright and early on the weekends and this mama wants to sleep in. So I sacrifice my showers for a few extra zzz's.

Let's chat about this outfit. I can't believe I'm actually sharing it because it's the world's easiest outfit. I can't tell you how many variations of this look I wear in a week. No bells, no whistles...just the basics. And sometimes it's nice to just wear what's easy. I think it also says a lot about our innate personal style. If you had five minutes to dress in the morning, what would you wear?
