Cute...yes. Practical...um no. Remind me to never throw snow with my bare hands again. It makes them very, very cold. Oh and apparently wedge boots are not so great for standing in the snow. Who knew?!? It's lucky that these photos aren't of me on my bottom since I was sliding all around.
This was my Thanksgiving Day outfit. We had family photos so I wanted something with a little bit of pop. Lilac and red does that quite nicely I think. And believe it or not these pants are just stretchy enough to accomodate a post-feast belly. That's always important to remember when dressing for the holidays.
By the way, I'm not really a snow bunny. More like a fire sitter. Yes, I do believe that is an apt description of myself.

ReplyDeleteThis was at my Grandma's cabin in the mountains. It was definitely a fun treat!
DeleteI'm so envious of you and your snow. The weather dropped to 30 this past weekend which looked promising... until I noticed that the forecast called for 60s this upcoming weekend. Sigh. Love your layers, though :)
