My closet is full of button-ups. Here's the problem though, when your belly gets bigger, those button-ups just don't button up anymore. Say that three times fast.
My solution, to just wear them open. That way I don't lose those 30 awesome shirts. And guess what? You know what else I am doing here? I am layering in a way that I've never layered before. Because why wouldn't I button up my shirt when I can? This might be a preggo trend that I apply to my non-preggo, when that time comes, life. And if I do say so myself. I kinda like it.
Maybe you should try to be a little less buttoned up too.

I'm so jealous...I've been wanting that shirt and jacket for the longest time. I love this look and that necklace! You look amazing! I think one of the things I learned from being pregnant is don't stretch out my good clothes. I don't know if that happened to you but after trying not to buy new clothes all my favorites got so stretched out. :( With wearing them open you fixed that.
ReplyDeleteI love the non buttoned button up. I totally love how versatile those shirts can be. And you really rock it here!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the link up! Happy Wednesday!

GREAT outfit!!! That second picture is amazing!! Perfect shot of the accessories and totally pinning.
ReplyDeleteLove that idea! It's a genius way to get the most out of your wardrobe and I'll have to try it, even though it's not a necessity for this non-preggo. :)
