forget the feminine frills.

{Shirt: Target | Shorts: Gap | Shoes: Anthropologie | Bag: Similar}

I had the prettiest little party dress picked out for my birthday.  Girly and twirly.  But then it just didn't feel right.  I swapped the feminine frills for manly duds.  Apparently 29 means I'm embracing androgynous attire from here on forward.

Luckily for me, the construction workers knew I would be needing a very large crane for my masculine photo shoot.  So they dropped this off.  Isn't that kind of them?  Just pass me my hard hat and I'll fit right in.

On another note, thanks for all the sweet birthday comments from yesterday.  I feel like I have so many friends...granted I haven't met most of you, but I do stalk you through your blogs, so that counts for something...right? All kidding aside, your comments really, truly mean the world to me!
