You guys!!! I am headed to Florida this weekend for a girls trip. Eeek! For one weekend, I won't be known as "mama". I'll just be one of the girls...albeit a very pregnant girl. But still! 

My girlfriends from high school and I have gotten together pretty much every year since we graduated college. And you know what's crazy about it? It always feels like nothing has changed. We all still have so much fun and we are all still the best of friends. It shocks me every time and makes me appreciate them all the more. You really don't find friendships like that every day.

This look is perfect for touring the streets of Naples and it's exactly what I have packed in my bag. Comfy (which is important) yet still cute! You know that's my motto!

then & now: pre-pregnancy and pregnancy

Admittedly it's pretty hard to re-use the clothes that you already have in your wardrobe from your pre-pregnancy days, but it's not impossible. I love that these outfits have totally different feels but use the same pieces, a chambray shirt and a plaid button-up. Not buttoning up is a great way to still wear your button-ups and layer in a new and different way.

And while I'm definitely ready to get back to my pre-pregnancy clothes, it is fun to challenge myself on how I can wear what I already have. Right now as the temperatures rise, I'm really working with my looser fitting dresses and skirts and adding in maternity pieces where needed.

Clearly I'm feeling peach huh? I mean I did a post about this color yesterday and here I'm wearing every single peach colored thing I own. I'm loving it! 

And how about my new haircut? It's one of the best haircuts I've had in ages. I swear I've done something different with it every single day (well, almost) because it's so much fun to play with! And I feel like it's way more modern than what I had before. It's fresh and stylish. And if you can't tell I love it. 

So I guess I'm loving a lot these days...peach and my hair.

Yesterday when I was shopping I realized that most of the clothes I picked up were in the peach to coral color wave. I am completely drawn to it these days. I think there's just something so refreshing about it and it's really a great color to have in your wardrobe because it complements every skin tone. Go darker if you have lighter skin and paler if you have darker skin. It's sure to bring out a healthy natural glow either way!

This is one of those outfits where you feel like a million bucks and trust me guys that doesn't happen very often these days. I felt pretty, put together and stylish in this look...like a woman who doesn't just clean up spilt milk or sift through mounds of dirty laundry. I know that's not all I do but some days it feels like it! This outfit is perfect for the office, a casual business lunch or a get together with friends!

I had this outfit in my head for awhile. The only problem when I was actually getting dressed was finding shoes. So now not only is my closet slim pickings but also my shoe collection! I do not exaggerate when I say I tried on five different pairs of shoes. My mom laughed at how my feet bulged over the edges of two pairs. And by the end of the day I gave in and opted for sneaks. Oh the joys of being pregnant!

trend alert: overalls, will they stay or will they go?

So I've been thinking about overalls for a few weeks now. I don't know whether they are a flash in the pan or a trend that's gaining momentum. And honestly I am not exactly sure how I feel about them and whether they fit in with my personal style.

But I saw this adorably cute pregnant lady wearing them and my wheels started turning. I'm not ready to go out and buy a pair (especially since it hasn't even hit the mainstream stores yet) but I'm curious to say the least. What do you guys think? Are you on board? Or a little hesitant like me?

Those of you who follow me on Instagram know that I chopped my hair off. Nothing too crazy but still a big change. Other than a late night freak out, I have been really, really happy with my choice. I feel like my new hairstyle is way more stylish and fun. But then I see these photos and {gasp} I am regretting it. My hair never looked like this in real life. But of course here in these photos, it is perfect. 

Why does this always happen? I swear in every other photo shoot from the last two weeks my hair just looks bad. And the one photo shoot taken before the big chop and it's perfect. Blarg.

It's official. I can't change my hair without regretting it...ever. Are you guys the same way?!
