spring forward now.

I know it's too early to be talking about spring already (especially with another three months of winter). But the stores are already starting to incorporate spring colors and pieces into their collections. So it gets really, really hard to not buy spring clothes because they are colorful and fun and really we just want the warm weather to hurry up and get here! If you are going to start buying these pieces before the temperatures actually rise, invest in smart pieces that can be worn now and later.

There are two pastel colored beauties in this outfit: the necklace and the shirt. Both pieces can be worn right now. The mint shirt is great layered under just about anything and the necklace would add a pop of color to every outfit. (And just think about that mint shirt paired with some boyfriend shorts and gladiator sandals this summer).

Here we have the pants, watch and wallet. Accessories are easily integrated into any seasonal wardrobe, but crazy, bright colored pants are not so easy. I toned the pants down with a black tuxedo blazer and silver flats. And those pants would look darling this summer paired with a a peplum top for a dinner date.

How about you guys? Are you fighting the temptation to buy spring gear already? I know I am!

  1. Ooooh I really like that fossil watch. I might have to drop my desire to have the date display...now I have a dilemma! Some really nice ideas here.

  3. Not too early to talk about Spring, I say! I'm totally ready for it, but it won't be to Seattle till around Memorial Day. I love the idea of those cheerful blue pants and coral clutch together. ~Sarah

  4. You're right! It is really hard to not buy a lot of spring stuff just because it's coming out in the stores now. That said, I'm already starting to get spring fever from the pretty colors!
