winterized nautical stripes.

{Top: Zara | Jeans: Similar | Purse: Similar}

Friends, first I want to thank you for your sweet sentiments yesterday. It felt good to put closure to the issue by writing about it, so thank you for understanding.

Now onto our regular scheduled programming as promised. You know what kills me? I hate it when I buy a brand-new top that I am really excited about. And then I go out for Korean food and somehow in my haste to fill my belly, I end up spilling the worst part of said food on my shirt. You know the greasy stuff that NEVER comes out...yes, that would be what found it's way onto my shirt. Granted, you can see none of this in the photos but trust me it's there. And it will always be there. As a pregnant lady with limited wardrobe options, I cannot afford to slobber the contents of my lunch all over brand new shirts. Not cool Lindsay. NOT cool.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this. I really cannot tell you how many shirts I have had to get rid of because of this issue. Sad...very sad.

  3. What an apropos post for today! The shirt I am wearing has a stain on it. I noticed it when I was getting dressed, debated about finding a new top, and decided it wasn't worth the time and effort. So stained shirt it is! Now that I'm re-looking at it... I probably should have changed. ;-)

  5. First of all I love nautical themed anything and I always reach for cognac accessories...home run outfit, love it! Secondly, when I was pregnant I was forever dropping food onto my huge belly that didn't want to move from my rib cage down to where a belly should be...so there was just no way around it! YOu look fab!

  6. First off, love that bag! Second, so sad about you shirt. Here's a trick my husband uses, put Directly on it and let it set I. Cool water in the sink overnight. As far as I know, he's always had success getting grease out. Then wash it like normal.

  8. I do this too so don't feel alone. You know what else I do? I'm always dropping food down my shirt... it's so annoying.

  9. Seems I've read somewhere that using Dawn dishsoap gets grease stains out of clothing? I can't confirm if it works or not. :)

    But you look great! Love the shirt and the clover necklace!
